Description
CHRISTUS Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system with more than 600 facilities including hospitals, clinics, and freestanding emergency centers across Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico is seeking a fellowship-trained Advanced Imaging Specialist to lead a well-established practice. The role involves delivering exceptional clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Medical Director will lead strategic planning, drive operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of clinical quality.

The Medical Director will serve with a team of 30 cardiologists and electrophysiologists, complemented by a large team of highly skilled advanced practice providers at The Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital, the regions preferred provider for heart care.

Requirements
- Performs complex and advanced cardiac imaging procedures; interprets results and provides expert consultation to referring physicians
- Collaborates with other clinical leaders to optimize patient care
- Identifies and implements opportunities for growth and innovation in cardiac imaging services
- Leads quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Heart and Vascular Institute, Radiology, and system-wide quality teams
Qualifications
- 3 years post-fellowship experience in a high-volume cardiac imaging practice
- Expertise in Cardiac CT, CTA, MRI, MRA, and 2D/3D TEE
- Level II Certification in Cardiac CT (defined by SCCT or ACC / AHA guidelines)
- Level II training in Cardiac MRI
- Previous leadership experience preferred
