About the role
As a Cardiologist with Health New Zealand, you will provide expert care for a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, and complex congenital or structural heart disease.
You will participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient care, procedural cardiology, and multidisciplinary heart team meetings, while contributing to clinical governance, research, and teaching.

Salary and benefits:
- Base salary: $110,298 – $159,444 USD (based on the ASMS collective agreement and dependent on experience)
- On-call and availability allowances where applicable
- Reimbursement of MCNZ registration and Annual Practicing Certificate costs
- Funded CME allowance of $9513 USD and 10 days CME leave per year (pro-rata)
- 6 weeks annual leave plus 12 paid public holidays
- Long service, special leave, and sabbatical entitlements
- Up to 14 weeks paid parental leave
