The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is recruiting a full-time Emergency Radiologist. The successful applicant will be fellowship trained in Emergency Radiology, Abdominal/Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, or demonstrate experience in Emergency Radiology. Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and either hold, or be eligible for, ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology. J-1 Waiver sponsorship is available.
We are seeking a candidate at the Assistant Professor level or higher to join our section; new graduates are also encouraged to apply. The Department of Radiology has 44 clinical and research faculty members who provide patient care for all the major divisions of contemporary imaging. The department has undergone a recent residency program merger, with a total of 40 diagnostic radiology residents.
The department is responsible for all aspects of diagnostic imaging at University Hospital, a tertiary care medical center. University Hospital is a designated stroke center, liver transplant center and a Level 1 trauma center with state-of-the-art equipment and employs medical and dental professionals who are specialists in their field.
