Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our esteemed cardiac care team at Heart and Vascular Center of West TN. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular diseases through advanced interventional procedures, contributing to improved patient outcomes and the overall health of our community.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional procedures including angioplasty, stenting, and other catheter-based interventions to treat coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care protocols, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
• Engage in patient education and counseling, providing clear explanations of procedures and post-operative care to ensure informed patient decisions.
• Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials to advance the field of interventional cardiology and contribute to innovative treatment approaches.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in cardiology and interventional techniques through continuous education and training.
• Participate in General and STEMI cardiology call rotation. 

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school with completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship.
• Board certification in cardiology and interventional cardiology.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in interventional cardiology practice.
• Proven track record of performing a wide range of interventional procedures with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.
