Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with at least 5 years' experience, with a focus on complex high-risk intervention program (CHIP) and treatment of chronic total occlusions (CTO) to join the Van Ness Campus (VNC) / California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), Sutter Health's quaternary cardiovascular program of excellence in San Francisco.
This position offers the opportunity to practice within a premier national leading interventional/structural heart disease program in a highly integrated, academically oriented cardiovascular program that also includes prevention, advanced cardiovascular imaging, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure and transplant, and a system-leading aortic program. You'll join a collegial group of excellent clinical peers.
Clinical Focus
Lead a complex high-risk interventional program (CHIP)
Integration with Innovation Center and Sutter Sync driven PRISM primary and secondary prevention center to build a system and national referral center as interventional lead
High-acuity and complex cardiovascular care
Collaboration with subspecialty programs including:
Advanced CHF and transplant
Structural heart
Advanced cardiovascular imaging
Electrophysiology
Comprehensive aortic disease program
Teaching, research, and program development opportunities
Qualifications
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
Broad experience with CHIP and treatment of CTO
