Experience in superficial venous interventions is required. Proficiency in endovenous thermal ablation and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy is preferred. Familiarity with additional procedures—including VenaSeal, Varithena, and mechanochemical ablation—is a plus; training can be provided. We welcome candidates from a variety of vascular backgrounds, including Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and related specialties.

Role Overview
The physician will practice across two nearby North County locations. Responsibilities include performing new patient consultations and a comprehensive range of superficial venous procedures, such as:
Endovenous ablation (RFA and laser)
Perforator treatments
Ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy
Additional responsibilities include:
Interpreting venous duplex ultrasounds for reflux and DVT
Diagnosing and managing venous disease, including varicose veins, spider veins, and chronic venous insufficiency
Developing individualized treatment plans and educating patients on preventive care
Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
Participating in ongoing education to remain current with advancements in venous care
Overseeing a nurse practitioner who assists with consultations, office visits, and clinical workflow

Requirements
Qualifications
MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology, or a related specialty
Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Specialized training or experience in venous disease treatment
Proficiency in minimally invasive vein-care techniques
Ultrasound interpretation credentials (e.g., RPVI or RPhS) or ability to obtain within one year
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
