Description
Position Overview
- Academic abdominal radiology faculty (all ranks/experience levels welcome)
- Based at University of Maryland Medical Center (Baltimore)
- Mix of onsite + teleradiology coverage across UMMS sites

- 4 clinical days + 1 academic day (option for 5 clinical days for additional compensation)

Clinical Responsibilities: Interpret:
- CT/CTA, MRI, ultrasound, radiographs and fluoroscopy
- Broad ultrasound practice: Abdomen/pelvis + thyroid, neck, chest, extremities, OB. Perform nonvascular US-guided procedures (including SIS)
- Work closely with residents and Radiology Assistants (RA)
Schedule & Call
- Weekday rotation of clinical duties - all daytime shifts.
- Remote call approximately 1:6–1:7 weeks, which includes daytime weekend coverage. Minimal evening on-call interruptions via pager/phone (strong in-house ER support)
Academic Opportunities
- Dedicated academic time weekly
- Engage in: Resident & medical student education. Research (protected time available with funding). Administrative/leadership roles
