Requirements:

• MD or DO candidates required.
• Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
• Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology completion required from an accredited ACGME program
• Nuclear and Echo Cardiology training/experience preferred.
• Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology required
• Active Texas license required. Start date slotted for November 2026 (120 days required for credentialing)

Position Details:

• Employed position with Texas Health Heart & Vascular Specialists, a member of Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG), including a very attractive compensation and benefits package.
• The new interventional cardiologist will work exclusively out of our clinic in Frisco and Texas Health Frisco.
• There is no opportunity for structural heart in this practice.
• The team currently consists of 3 interventional cardiologists, 2 invasive non-interventional cardiologists, and 2 non-invasive general cardiologists.
• Call will be split equally. Currently the team provides call and STEMI coverage at 3 of our facilities in Plano, Allen, and Frisco.
• STEMI call coverage will be shared amongst four participating cardiologists.
• Texas has tort reform and no state income tax
