Our hospital is home to experienced Emergency clinicians, an Internist who comes in for consultations, and a Neurologist joining the team as we continue expanding specialty services throughout the hospital. We are also licensed to provide Radiation Therapy services, allowing for comprehensive patient care and collaboration across multiple specialties. In your day-to-day, you will:
- Provide medical and interventional cardiology care, including diagnosis and management of complex cardiac cases.
- Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, ECGs, and Holter or telemetry monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with Emergency, Radiology, Rehabilitation, Neurology, and other specialty services to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in emergency consultations and support hospitalized cardiac patients requiring advanced monitoring and treatment.
- Help grow and develop cardiology services within a rapidly expanding specialty hospital.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and treatment resources including telemetry, direct arterial blood pressure monitoring, oxygen therapy, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and anesthesia support.
- Access ongoing mentorship, collaboration, and professional development opportunities within a supportive specialty environment.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure.
- Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM-Cardiology) or Residency Trained in Cardiology.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
- A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
